Facebook has long said its core mission is to connect everyone in the world. Now it wants to use artificial intelligence to automatically help those connected billions with everyday tasks. Although there’s no immediate product on the horizon, Facebook thinks it will one day be able to offer its entire user base a personal digital helper, known as My New Assistant, that could understand, and respond accurately to, complex queries.
